Hospitals across Colorado have been relying on There With Care since its launch in 2005.
There With Care has supported hundreds of children and families facing critical illness. Referrals are made by the social workers at the institutions below, who understand the medical condition, financial situation and support systems of each family. This process allows There With Care to provide services to the families in the greatest need.
There With Care accepts referrals from social workers for any child and family facing critical illness who is served in the departments of the above hospitals and agencies and does not discriminate based on race, religion or gender.
They are there behind the scenes and that to them is more important than being in front of the scenes. The humility in that is extraordinary. Patients and their families are surrounded by these volunteers who just from their gut do the right thing.
