Becoming a There With Care volunteer take just a few easy steps.
- Sign up for a Volunteer Training Session
- Fill out the Volunteer Training Forms
- Attend and complete a 90min training
- Start receiving weekly volunteer opportunity emails to begin caring for our families!
You will receive an email confirmation from our Volunteer Coordinator with the date and time of your training.
When you come to your training please bring:
1) your completed application 2) driver’s license 3) $15 application fee (includes background check) 4) auto insurance card and 5) CPR certification if you have it (not required to become a volunteer)
There are many ways you can become a volunteer for There With Care.
Family Volunteer – Family volunteers work directly with families providing support. Volunteers can either be matched with one family or can help on an as needed basis with several families. Ongoing and one time opportunities are available — no amount of time is too little to make a difference for a family.
Event Volunteer – There With Care has many events throughout the year — major fundraising events and others smaller community events. Volunteers for this position complete an application, submit to a background and reference check and attend event committee meetings as needed prior to the event.
Administrative Volunteer – Administrative volunteers offer time assisting in the There With Care offices. Due to the training involved a regular commitment is suggested. Ongoing projects are also available if a volunteer is interested in an occasional volunteer opportunity.
