In Honor of Jackie Lewis
Jackie dedicated her life to the compassionate service of others. She was a devoted hospice social worker, grief counselor and voracious volunteer. Jackie leaves a legacy comforted in the knowledge that countless people have benefitted from her enormous heart.
When those who know her talk about her the words that they say are, “She was a hugely giving person with a huge heart”.
Her favorite cause was There With Care. In There With Care Jackie’s generous heart found a home.
Jackie touched every corner of There With Care and was a very proud of the mission and work being carried out. She shared her enthusiasm, her grace, her energy, and above all her genuine care for everyone associated with There With Care, and the families we support.
The actual words… “there with care” describe the spirit of Jackie Lewis more than anything else could. She truly was ALWAYS there with loving care for her family, her friends and for people in need.
Jackie will be greatly missed by her family and many loving friends. We will miss her smiling face and warm hugs, but her spirit of care and giving will live on within these walls, in this community and in our hearts forever.
